About Synnax

Synnax is a solo electronic music project focused on the exploration of atmospheric tension, hardware modular synthesis, and drone soundscapes.

The project's sound is completely devoid of beats or traditional rhythms. Instead, Synnax crafts vast, empty soundscapes built from ominous drones, dissonant textures, and slow, orchestral synth swells that rise and fall like a tide in a forgotten sea.

The recordings create a profound sense of scale and isolation, demanding patient, focused listening. Drawing lineage from the haunting work of artists like Lustmord and Biosphere, as well as the cinematic dread of modern ambient composers, Synnax explores the silent spaces, the moments just before dawn, and the quiet hum of a world asleep.
