Drawing the Horizon out Now

The album is an exercise in tension and atmosphere, completely devoid of beats or traditional rhythms. Instead, Synnax crafts vast, empty soundscapes built from ominous drones, dissonant textures, and slow, orchestral synth swells that rise and fall like a tide in a forgotten sea. The record creates a profound sense of scale and isolation, demanding patient, focused listening. It’s a sound that shares a lineage with the haunting work of artists like Lustmord and Biosphere, as well as the cinematic dread of composers like Hildur Guðnadóttir. Each track explores the horizon not as a symbol of hope, but as the edge of an immense, indifferent void. It is a sonic exploration of spaces, moments just before dawn, the silence of abandoned structures, and the quiet hum of a world asleep.

Soon you’ll be able to find it on Spotify, Apple Music, or wherever you stream your tunes. Experience the deep atmospheric layers of this new release.

Third Album Progress Update

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe. I have some exciting news to share with you: I’ve started writing the third Synnax album! As you may know, Synnax is my solo project where I explore different genres and styles of electronic music. I’ve released two albums so far: We dream of Familiar Places and Drifting Away. For the third album, I want to challenge myself and try something new. I want to create a concept album that tells a story through the music. I’ve been working on the outline of the songs and the main themes for the past few weeks, and I’m really excited about how it’s shaping up. I don’t have a release date or a title for the album yet, but I’ll keep you updated as I progress with the writing process. Thank you for your continued support and love!
